The client’s mission is to discover, develop, and deliver innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases. It manufactures prescription pharmaceuticals and biologics in several therapeutic areas.
The client was looking to build an environment to facilitate virtual access to applications for end users. While it originally planned to offer a workspace solution, after a thorough assessment, the client deemed it uneconomical to implement such a model.
Brillio managed every aspect of implementing and maintaining the client’s environment, from creating an image builder server and managing user authentication to handling patching and security. To address the client’s requirement for a fully managed application streaming service, Brillio utilized AppStream 2.0.
Provisioned Windows Server EC2 image builder with the latest Server OS image, configured applications, and created images.
Centrally managed applications, including user access and permissions, updates, security policies, etc.
Developed a Service Catalog kit for AppStream to enable application teams to leverage the service to achieve consistent governance & compliance requirements.
