GUADALAJARA, Mexico ─ November 14, 2024 ─ Brillio, a leading digital transformation services and solutions provider, has been honored by the Government of Jalisco, Mexico, for creating high-tech jobs in Jalisco through its development center in the state capital, Guadalajara.
Brillio was recognized recently at a special event held in Santa Clara, 2024. It was attended by distinguished leaders and key stakeholders in the innovation and high technology sectors. Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, the current Governor of the State of Jalisco, presided over the event, alongside Governor-elect Pablo Lemus and the newly elected state authorities who will lead the administration for the 2024-2030 term.
Brillio began operations in Mexico in 2022 and employs more than 150 professionals in the country, delivering digital transformation, consulting, data, artificial intelligence (AI), customer experience transformation, product and platform engineering, infrastructure, cloud, security, and other services to leading clients in banking, retail, hi-tech, telecommunications, and other sectors. Guadalajara is home to Brillio’s Centers of Excellence (COEs) dedicated to Product Engineering, Data Engineering, Quality Engineering, Tech Project Management, and New Delivery.
Earlier this year, Brillio had announced that it would make significant investments to scale the capabilities and infrastructure at its Guadalajara center, resulting in a five-fold increase in its headcount of top-tier engineering and AI talent in Mexico by 2027.
Brillio runs several industry-academia collaboration, community engagement, and skill development programs in Mexico to foster local tech talent and drive innovation. It regularly partners with leading institutions such as ITESO, Universidad Panamericana, and Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara on diverse talent initiatives. The company organizes a number of events in collaboration with tech communities such as GeekGirls, DataLab, and J4Guanatos to promote STEM education. Over the past two years, Brillio has positively impacted approximately 2,500 students through skill development and career-readiness endeavors, including technology workshops and job fairs.
