In January 2019, we announced an investment by Bain Capital Private Equity, which acquired a majority stake in Brillio to further scale our digital transformation offerings. Bain’s investment in Brillio is validation of our vision and strategy, expertise in emerging technologies, agile service delivery and key partnerships.

Building meaningful partnerships with firms with world leading technologies in AI/Cloud/Automation has been core to our strategy, and to that end, we are excited to announce our partnership with Blue Planet, a division of Ciena. With Blue Planet’s networking heritage and focus on intelligent automation software, and our expertise in enterprise digital transformation, cloud and IoT, our companies will partner to launch innovative cloud and network automation solutions to help businesses accelerate and scale digital transformation initiatives.

Accelerating digital transformation in the enterprise

The convergence of Cloud, IoT, AI and SDN is creating new opportunities for enterprises to drive incremental revenue through innovative data driven offerings and accelerating the adoption of on-demand product/solution delivery models in a scalable, cost-effective manner. In fact, Gartner predicts that Enterprise IT spending for cloud-based offerings will continue to grow faster than non-cloud IT offerings, making up 28% of spending in 2022, up from 19% in 2018. Worldwide, public Cloud Application Services (SaaS) revenue will increase to $113B by 2021 at a CAGR of over 16%, also according to Gartner.

While these technologies are transformational for industries across the board, for many enterprises, operating a hybrid multi-cloud environment is challenging and complex.
